1) i am not able to see my SIM trades on my trade activity log. i am taking trades in a separate instance; dont know if that matters. i have noticed this for sometime but never pursued it. i believe i have it set up correctly to see the sim trades

2) because of rollover i changed my symbols manually on my trade DOM's It did not give me an alert to rollover on the Trade DOm but it did on some of my charts as i have this set under chart settings. It alerted me on some of my charts to rollover but not others
.
3) I have a Trade DOM set for ES as symbol and MES as my trade symbol. I have a Trade window open for the Trade DOM. Today when i rolled over the symbols, the Trade DOM was showing as if ES was being traded but on the Trade log it was showing trades on MES only. This has happened to me before; where the Trade window does not seem to be in sync with the Trade DOM symbol. I tried reload/recalculate/disconnect/reconnect. I did not restart sierra. not sure why this happens

Thank you

1. Make sure the settings are correct on the Trade Activity Log. Refer to:
Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity

In the case of a sub instance, simulated trading that is not using Trade Simulation Mode in that instance is considered non-simulated trading.

2. Perform a futures rollover as explained here:
Changing to a New Futures Contract Month

3. This is simply impossible:
the Trade DOM was showing as if ES was being traded but on the Trade log it was showing trades on MES only
There is no possibility of this. Therefore, we are not understanding the issue you are having. Maybe you are looking at the wrong Trade window. Refer to:
Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Opening Trade Window for Chart or Trade DOM

You also need to enable order confirmations. So you can see exactly what symbol is being traded.

i am following up in regards to issue #3
Not a big deal, but i have a Trade DOM in a separate instance where my symbol is ES and I am trading MES and the PnL displays for ES even though my trades are going through as MES
I have tried to remedy this a number of ways
Its really not a problem for me. i have been using it this way
But i wanted you to be aware of this - especially since you said it is impossible
I will attach a screenshot let me know if you want more info
Thanks

What you are doing is fine, it is not impossible. The above response was not considering the "Trade and Current Quote Symbol".

You need to adjust the "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Currency Value per Tick" for that Chart/Trade Window so that the Currency Value per Tick is for the MES, not the ES. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Updating Currency Value per Tick for Trade Symbol
