10 minute data gap in sub instances

Hi,

About half of the time when I open my sub instances there is a 10 minute gap in data. I delete and download all data, I also go to the folder and delete the data file in each instance, but it repeats over and over. This has been happening for a while now and it is frustrating and time consuming to fix, if I can at all. Attached is an example of opening one of the sub-instance charts.

I have my 1st instance on tick data. 3 out of the 4 of my sub instances are set to tick data download, and one instance is set to 2 seconds. They are set to automatically open on start with their respective charts.

Is there something I am doing wrong or a fix/different procedure I can apply?

Many thanks.

One proceedure I am using to fix is repeating the "delete all data and download". But often I have to run that 4-5 times on each sub instance for it to download all the data without the gap, and then sometimes I have to delete the file in the folder too. So doing that on 4 sub-instances every time I open my platform each day is not ideal.

Appreciate any help.

Love Sierra BTW and long time user. Very rarely are there issues like this and often a user error so all ears.

Cheers.

Are these actual Sub-Instances started by selecting "File >> New Instance" or are they different installations? Or some combination thereof?

File >> New Instance

The issue persists if they are "instances to run on startup" or if I manually do it from the primary instance.

Are you ever missing any data in the Main Instance?

Next time you have this with one particular instance, tell us the exact symbol this occurs with and then give us the Message Log at that moment in time. Instructions:
Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases)

This would be when you start the sub instance or it is automatically started. After you start the instance and then the data finishes downloading and you notice this missing data, we need to see the Message Log at that time and know the symbol.

Thank you. This has been sent for Analysis with the URL reference to this thread. The problem persists every time I open the platform on the subinstances.

The symbol is CLH24-NYMEX

We now see why you are getting 10 minute delayed data:
Verified trading account ending date: 2023-01-13 (This is expired)

The reason you are not getting real-time data from the Denali Data Feed, and historical data from the Denali Data Feed in the case of when using an external Trading service (Rithmic, CQG, Interactive Brokers), from the CME Group of exchanges is that you activated the *Non-Professional* exchange fees. However, you have not verified in the last month that you have a live, funded, futures trading account, which the CME needs in order to allow you data at the lower priced fees.

Refer to the "Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges" section here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

Rithmic paper trading or trading evaluator accounts are not considered a live funded futures trading account.

Refer to the following for instructions on how to connect once a month to your *live funded* trading account to qualify for the lower-priced exchange fees:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

If you do not have a funded trading account or one with a supported Trading service, then refer to this solution:
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

Consider the above solution to avoid this problem in the future.
