Hi,
I took out a free trial yesterday but have not been able to load a chart of the emini es without the data being delayed? How do I get real time data during the free trial period please?
Thanks in advance!

In order to get the real-time data you will need to pay for it.

We recommend using our Delayed Streaming Data at least through the Trial period, as this data acts, in all ways, the same as the real-time data, but is delayed by 10-15 minutes and is free of charge.

If you really want to get the real-time data, then we ca adjust your account to allow you to do this.

Just make sure you are aware of the CME Group requirement to have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for the non-professional exchange fees. Refer to the following:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Hi
Is it possible to pay for real time data for the es and nq during the trial period and if so, how does one do this. I only need top of book.
Thanks!

The Non-Professional CME Group exchange options have a first month free trial (keep in mind it is a Calendar Month, not 31 days). Therefore, it is possible to get this data for free for the remainder of this month. But to do this, you need to be able to prove that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to qualify for the non-professional exchanges. Refer to the following regarding this:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart

We have set your account to be on Package 12 for the remainder of the trial, which will allow you to setup the real-time data - should you choose to do so.

Once you have worked out the non-professional issue, then you can setup the CME Group data by following these instructions:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

Who am I proving this to and does a spread betting account in the UK which also covers futures markets suffice?

Thanks

You need to prove your non-professional standing by first entering the account information in the Market Data Agreements that you will sign as part of the setup. But the more important thing is that you need to be able to connect Sierra Chart to this account. This proves to us that you have the account so you can then get the non-professional data - which we use to prove to the CME Group, should they ask for the information.

We doubt that the account you reference will suffice, but are they using CQG or Rithmic for order routing by any chance? If so, then you might be able to use it. Let us know which of these two they use, if they do at all.

We also have a solution to this issue outlined at the following link:

Hello,

is it possible to also receive free real-time data for ES on my account? I am having a similar issue with loading real time ES data during the trial.

I am also trying to test out the Footprint chart and DOM for ES, but am unable to get the correct prices to display on both. Any suggestions? It is currently quoting 40 points below the current ES contract even though I have it set to ESZ23 (current)

Hi there, when it comes to Real-time Stock or Futures Data, the exchanges sell that data each month and for access you would need to be on one of SP10, SP11, or SP12 and even then you would need to pay the corresponding Real-time Data Exchange Fee for what you activate, the cost of Real-time Stock or Real-time Futures Data is not included in the Price of Sierra Chart Software Usage Time.
