Hi I am on a free trial and the data shows delayed.

I have a live funded trading account.

We really recommend using the Delayed Streaming Data while you are on trial, as the data works the same as real-time data, but you do not need to pay for it.

If you really want to get setup for real-time data, then we can help you with this. What are the exchanges for which you want the real-time data? Who is your broker and what order routing service do they have you setup to use?

I want the data to be real time. The comex gold data shows delayed when I open the trading dom.

I need gold, forex, and sp500.

I use interactive broker. And how do I find out the order routing service?

We have changed your account from a trial to Package 12. This will allow you to get the real-time data for Gold. The FOREX and SP500 (CFD) real-time data is available with all packages, including trials.

Interactive Brokers uses their own order routing, so do not worry about that any further. Follow the instructions at the following link to connect your Sierra Chart to your Interactive Brokers account:

Then follow the instructions for the Denali Exchange Data Feed for the CME Group data at the following link:

When I connect to interactive broker, I do not get any real time data, for futures gold.

Select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service.

Most likely you did not update your symbols when you changed to Interactive Brokers. Keep in mind that each service uses its own symbols for an instrument.

Whenever you change your Current Selected Service and select OK to close the Data/Trade Service Settings page, you get prompted to update the symbols for the new service - which we recommend doing each time.

If you forget, or do not do it for some reason and then need to update the symbols, then the option under the Edit menu is there to take care of this.

my pakage is 12 too, i am new to SC today, but my data for gold future is delayed too, i need realtime data for gold

The reason you are not getting real-time data, and historical data in the case of when using an external Trading service (Rithmic, CQG, Interactive Brokers), from the CME Group of exchanges is that you activated the *Non-Professional* exchange fees. However, you have not verified in the last month that you have a live, funded, futures trading account, which the CME needs in order to allow you data at the lower priced fees.

Rithmic paper trading or trading evaluator accounts are not considered a live funded futures trading account.
