Hello! I logged in today and there is no data on my charts (ES) except for today. It was fine yesterday. I'm using Rithmic but get my data through Denali and believe I have the correct service package as I did not want my data from Rithmic. Not sure what has changed or why there is no data. I followed all the instructions to delete all data and download but nothing has changed. Could you look into this for me? As a side note, if I change my service back to CQG, the charts populate with the correct data. Thanks so much. |

Whenever you change your Current Selected Service you need to update the Symbols in your charts. Each service uses different symbols, and if you have the symbols for the wrong service, then the symbol will simply not be recognized. At this point, open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. After that you should be fine. Hi John! I did as you suggested but it didn't bring in any of the historical data. I only have data from 2:00 pm today on.

Good morning! When I went to open my chart, a message popped up stating I needed to connect to my live account at least once a month to get the data. Yesterday when I was having the problem with data loading, I was in SIM. I switched to live mode this morning and the chart populated so I think I'm good to go. Thanks so much for your help.

Good morning, again. As I looked closer at the charts, there are still big gaps. It looks like there is no data from about 2:44 yesterday afternoon to 9:47 this morning. I am following your instructions to clear the message log and delete all data and download. I'll provide the message log shortly. Thanks.

That issue was resolved as Denali feed was not active. I have one more question. How can I view the account balance and comissions paid associated with broker that is linked to Sierra? I use AMP broker. Can sierra publish that data live as a trade is executed? Thank you, |

You can check your account balance by selecting Trade >> Trade Account Monitor/Balances Window. Just be aware that not all trading services send this information in a timely fashion, so it may not be up to date (or even present). As to commissions and fees, those are dealt with by your broker. We have no access to that information. You have to get it from your broker. You can enter Commissions and have them taken account of in your Trade Activity Log. Hi John, When you have the trade window open, is there a way you can see your open orders appear on the actual chart itself? If so, is it possible to drag those orders up or down on the chart to change to the desired value (say to move your stop up or down on the chart, rather than using the window). Thank you |

You should always see your orders on the chart, as long as you have the option for Show Orders and Positions enabled (which is automatic when you enable the option for Trade >> Chart Trade Mode On). Refer to the following: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Viewing Orders and Trade Position on the Chart / Trade DOM Once they are showing on the chart you can select an Open order and move it up or down to change the price of that open order. Hi, 1) Whenever I activate or deactivate the Trade >> Chart Trade Mode On, there is a delay of 1-2 minute for the chart to continue and show the new settings (freezes for 2-3 minutes). Is this normal? PC is good. 2) What is the best and most efficient way to view your orders in the past? Trade order window on Trade tab is a bit confusing. Also, is it possible to view your past orders (already executed or historical orders) on the chart itself as well?. Thank you, Mo |

1) This does sound like a long time. Do you have a lot of customizations in your DOM? 2) The Trade Activity Log is the place to see what has taken place. You can use the Trade Activity page and view just Order Fills. Or you can use the Trades page. You just need to find what works best for you. As long as there are order fills in the Trade Activity Log, then you can view those Order Fills on the chart by enabling the viewing of the Order Fills. Refer to the following: Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Displaying Order Fills on the Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
