Hi, I am on a free trial with delayed data. Sometimes during the trading day the data does not come through and to update the charts. I think it may be a timing issue on the charts I have set up as the window in the top left is green and the "DF" number is ticking over.

I am concentrating (for now) on Euro CME Futures. As FX is a 24 hour market I have set the charts to be on all the time; evenings, ETH, etc and timed the trading day to start at 17:00:00 EST and end at 16:59:59 but there are these issues with the chart not updating. All the data is filled in later on but there are periods when the chart just does not move.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated,

Reg

Thank you for your suggestions - really appreciate it.

I think that I have identified the issue. I have set Sierra Charts to be operating on EST (New York) and my computer uses EST too BUT on the Sierra Charts ALL SERVICES window at the top, the time seems to be set to GMT and I cannot change it.

I have gone into "Time Zones" and it is definitely set to EST but Sierra Charts is still ticking on GMT.

You can see from the uploaded file that my system time is EST, the Sierra Chart setting is EST BUT the top of the screen shows GMT

Is there another way that I can change it?

Thanks in advance for your help.... again :)

Hi
Thanks for your reply.

I thought tHAT I had explained in my previous message and shown in the screenshot that I HAVE changed and confirmed the Global Time to EST New York but it stubbornly refuses to change the Global time from GMT to EST.

Sierra does not seem to want to change its Global Tome Zone Setting. This seems to be the reaon why it won't allow me to see the delayed chart in real time plus dealy time. Can you help ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Are you sure you changed the global time zone? This is in Global Settings >> Time Zone.

Thanks for persevering with me on this.

This is the error I get when I try to set the time in the Global Settings.

Solved!!

Global Settings and the Right at the very end it says Time Zone Settings. That is now set to EST.

Thanks so much for your help
