Hi Guys,
I want to look at UST and crude charts. I am happy to have delayed data as I am just want to look at some pattern I have found in other products. I do not have nymex or cbot. Can I get free delayed data or do I have to sign up like I do for cme and crypto? And how much for for bonds and crude?

thanks for your time,

Karen

The Delayed Streaming data is available at no cost as long as you have a paid package. For more information on the delayed streaming data, refer to the following:

John, sorry to bother you but you know how stupid I am and I don't want to blow up my SC all service on my live crypto perps.

First off, am I reading it right that I can have my SC with live feed running all normal and fine, AND then create a chartbook that would be say bonds or crude that would get the delayed data? Does ticking the box in instruction 4 to go from YES TO NO allow this? I am terrified I go to NO and I lose my crypto BMEX perp live data.

Sorry I am blond, old and dumb, but you all know that. In an ideal world I hope I have my live eth and btch chartbooks, and delayed crude and bond chartbooks all on the same SC. If this is not right can you explain it better so I don't blow up my crypto which is my income!!!

Thanks John.

In a particular installation of Sierra Chart, if you set this setting to No:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Other Settings)

Then all of the symbols available through the Delayed Exchange Data Feed become delayed even if you pay for real-time data.

You will get exactly what you want if you set that setting to No.

ok dont kill me this is very scary for me as I am convinced if I do anything it will kill my live data to crypto. So just to confirm I can have LIVE and delayed data coming thru the same SC?

I did exactly as you said and toggled it to NO and then disconnected the feed and reconnected and the prices then were off. My ES didnt match what was on my other SC computer. So it didn't work...

You are setup to get real-time data from the CME E-Mini for Professionals, of which the ES is a part. Therefore, it sounds like you have one computer getting the real-time data and the other getting the delayed data. This is to be expected given what you have setup.

If you do not want to get any real-time data from the CME Group, then you will want to Deactivate the exchange that you have active and then you would need to set the option for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds to No on any installation of Sierra Chart that you have.
