I activated the eurex data feed at the weekend. i have denali teton . how can i trade FGBL live ? (it works in the demo) in the trade log comes the message Symbol of the Master company account for trade overriding places not approved.

The Teton Order Routing service does not support trading EUREX. At the moment I have with sierra : Datebfeed : Denali Teton Exchange : CME , Eurex To trade the FGBL I still need Rithmic. Are there any technical problems with two data feeds? Both run through Edge clear . Or is it better to do one over edge clear and one over another brooker. how do i get additional rithmic .

If you are going to keep your Teton Order Routing Service for CME trades and open a different account for EUREX trades, then you will want to have to different installations of Sierra Chart - one for the CME Group (using Teton Order Routing) and the other for EUREX (using Rithmic Order Routing). In both cases you will continue to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed and there are no extra fees you will incur with this setup, as long as both instances are installed on the same computer. Refer to the following for how to install a second Sierra Chart: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time: Step-By-Step Instructions to Install Multiple Copies of Sierra Chart And then, in that second Sierra Chart, you would follow these instructions to connect to Rithmic: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions --- If, instead, you change your account to just use Rithmic, then you will need to follow the instructions to connect to Rithmic once your broker has you setup. EUREX trading is not coming to Teton. That has been decided against. There is just not enough demand for it and the cost is too high and the world is too unpredictable and we have better things to do with our time which are massively more productive. OK, that sucks...but its an understandable business decision. So, let me ask you this: What is the next big project you are working on right now? What are your next milestones besides polishing the trading platform? I am REALLY curious because i get the impression you have no big goals anymore. What else could/should be done with SC? That EUREX is not coming to Teton should be raised at main threads. Many potential customers (like me) were waiting since month to go with SC. Now your platform doesn't and will not fit the requirements. Without low latency routing it makes no sense at all. The customers will be coming after releasing the features - not before. So, let me ask you this: What is the next big project you are working on right now? What are your next milestones besides polishing the trading platform? I am REALLY curious because i get the impression you have no big goals anymore. What else could/should be done with SC? We have so many large and small development tasks, that we cannot keep up with all of them but we are doing our best with getting them done as soon as we can. Anyway, we do not want to be posting them here. We will post them in another thread. There was a degree of hesitancy always with EUREX, and it is just not a major exchange among our users. And EUREX does not make this easy in many ways including redundancy. So it is not simply not worth our time when we should be investing our time in our own exchange functionality which we are currently doing. "when we should be investing our time in our own exchange functionality" What do you mean by that? If you mean your own exchange project, then i think its a waste of your time too. And why should one ever trade with CQG again? Its bad with CME and its not better with EUREX.

I would like to open a trade and backtest it. the trade is opened and closed on different terms . thus several trades run at the same time and must be recognized! the trade is to be closed at certain times . the trade should show me the following after closing. In general what you are asking is straightforward enough and you could use any of the trading systems that we have available to do what you want, as long as it actually does what you want. We do not know all of your conditions, so we can not say one is better than another. The only thing to be aware of is that when you are opening multiple trades, you will need to be careful about how they are being closed out. You may not want to use Scale-In. This is something you will have to look at for your particular situation.
