getting intraday a year ago for xbtusd...

Hi guys,
I have asked everyone at OFL and they can't figure it out so I need your help. I have 2 separate instances on my pc. Each with its own login as one is connected to Teton, the other is SC data all services. It is with all services I am having issues with BUT I think it's XBTUSD specific. I cannot get an intraday chart on XBTUSD going back any further than early sept of last year. On that instance, I also have an ES chartbook and I can go back as far as I want intraday, it is only with bitcoin perp contract that it stops. The daily contract I can go far back. I went into global settings at first but then once I saw I can get tick data back to early 2021 on es and nq I realise it's an issue with xbtusd.

Can you help me? I am desperate to see 'under the hood' of the daily chart as that's how I find my levels. Now that btc is down at 33000 you need to go back a year to see price action at that level.

ok we have A VERY BIG PROBLEM. I did exactly what your instructions said...and when I hit 'delete all data and reload' it totally completely has F'ed up my SC. The pc totally froze and hung. TOTALLY. I had to eventually just force a shutdown! wtf? I then restarted my pc, and eventually SC. Now to open any chartbook on either application(I have one SC with Teton running ES/NQ and one using 'all data' running the XBTUSD bitcoin.) takes FOREVER. It is literally 5-10 min to open one of my chartbooks. I went thru and cleared out all old scid files(I do it every week so there were very few) to make sure there was nothing slowing it down. So now my SC has thrown a huge hissy fit and there still is no data pre-Sept 2021 in that xbtusd-bmex contract.

And, when I click on global settings-data/trade service settings I get NOTHING. No box, no pop-up nothing...I have closed everything to make sure pop could be seen if there is one. There isn't one...

I think we can say the 'fix' didn't work...So what next??? Is there an issue with the data provider for that contract? If I can get tick data on es or nq for 1-2 years no problem, then why can't I for xbtusd-bmex???

I provide, yet again, all the chart setting boxes to show I am doing what you said. Please advise as I absolutely need to see intraday data from more than 186 days previous!

Right, I did find by clicking on global settings-trade services...on the Teton, I got a dropdown. See attached. I increased it to 250 to see if perhaps that's the main one for both applications. I hit 'delete data and reload'. And still, no data pre Nov 2021 despite my having 375 days to load on my hourly xbtusd-bmex chart.

I have tried everything. Ball is in your court...

This is a system performance issue. Install Sierra Chart on a dedicated SSD/NVME Drive:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.29 - Solid State Drives / SSD

regarding this, update to the current version of Sierra Chart:

Regarding getting more data for that symbol, we can help with that with remote assistance but there is an additional cost for this service.

yikes! if that's what it takes to do that then ok, but how much? I need to see 1-2 years intraday. I have just bought a new Dell with 'whatever" so it can handle it. thank you

guys, seriously, I have waited and waited for a reply from you. You want to charge me to unlock this tick data from pre sept 2021 that is fine but how much are we looking at and when can you do this????

why do I have to be made to sound like some dragon asking you for ummm support as that's what you are? And I will be paying you extra for it? you seriously do not make it easy...sigh...
