My charts are no longer updating with real time data. I've reviewed the following thread and tried most of the recommended solutions: Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart: 3.10 - Chart Not Updating Due to Current Date Being Excluded I've tried step 3.4.1 and my current quote data is not updating. Leading me to believe I am not receiving data. I use denali data provided by SC. My account is current so I am not sure why the data is not being received. |

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) We will then determine what the problem is. This is showing that you have another connection to the data feed on another computer. You are only setup to receive data to one computer at a time, therefore ensure that any other computers are not connected. If you have gone through and verified that other computers are not connected, then on your currently running Sierra Chart select File >> Disconnect to disconnect from the data feed and then select File >> Connect to Data Feed to connect to the data feed. Ok one last question and this thread can be closed. Is there any way to force quit the application on the other computer? I currently don't have access to that computer. Thank you |

Unfortunately, no, there is not a way to force close Sierra Chart remotely (at least, not within any Sierra Chart software). You would have to access the computer somehow and exit Sierra Chart, which you can do using the Task Manager if you need to.
