Hi TEAM SC. I have SC set up and use the CME Bundle. I have charts all set up the same way to trade NQ, ES, MNQ and MES. I can get data with good charts with all the symbols except MNQ. I have tried to load new intraday charts and have duplicated the NQ chart that works and tried to just change the Symbol to the MNQ December contract and can still not get MNQ data to stream. I have requested assistance from Cannon trading and they are not sure what the issue is either. Could this be a service pack issue? Looking for support for a few minutes to see if you can help. Thank you for your time.

Very Respectfully

It looks like you are using Rithmic for your data. Make sure that you have the correct symbol for MNQ for Rithmic. To check the symbol, use the File >> Find Symbol to find the symbol name.

If you have the correct symbol for Rithmic, then we would need to see your Message Log by following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog

We will then determine what the problem is.

You really need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data when using Rithmic. Instructions:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

Otherwise, you are going to have significant issues with Rithmic historical data.

Ok I can look at using Denali Exhnage Data Feed. However from the log I sent you can you understand/ figure out why I can not get the MNQ data when I can get the NQ, ES and MES? Doesnt make sense to me. I am not looking at just having historical data. I want both historical and live data. Should be able to have the MNQZ1.CME symbol provide data through Sierra Charts with Rithmic.

The log you are showing is from a Sub-Instance. If that is the where you are not getting the data, then the first thing to do is to see if you can get the data in the Main instance.

On your main instance of Sierra Chart open a new intraday chart for MNQ and see if you get the data for that symbol. If you do, then try again in the Sub-Instance to see if you then get the data or not.

If you are not getting the data in the Main Instance, then we need the Message Log from the main instance. If you are getting the data in the main instance, but not in the Sub-Instance, then we need to see the Message Log from the Sub-Instance.

In either case, follow these instructions to get us your Message Log:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Thank you for your reply. Every time I open up SC on both my MAIN Instance and SEcond Instance I have problems with the MNQ charts streaming live data. The chart opens but is frozen at last price from the time it was last closed. Upon opening Main Instance on the MNQZ1.CME CHART I keep getting a Yello Error box that says "Symbol is unknown. Click for symbol information. Permission denied."
I also get a Red Error Box that reads "Download Failed. Error Downloading historical intraday data for MNQZ1.cme. permission denied"
In order to get the MNQ data to live stream I have to goto FILE--> FIND SYMBLOL --> SELECT MNQZ1.CME --> OPEN INTRADAY CHART then I have to --> DISCONNECT then RECONNECT TO DATA FEE.
Once I do all that in order then I can have a live streaming MNQ chart on both my Main Instance and my Second Instance I have open.
Please advise what I can do to solve this.

Here is the Message Log from these steps above:

We cannot help with Rithmic market data issues. You must use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

This is only 10 USD per month, and the exchange fee is only 3 USD per month for the entire CME Group. If you need help with this set up let us know. This will immediately solve your problems.

We have no control over Rithmic market data.
