Good morning,
I entered a short MES trade this morning at 8:30:22 am, CST. This was a 3 lot trade with the stop at 12 ticks and scales to 12, 21 and 40 ticks. The first scale was hit. The DOM and chart then froze for 5-10 seconds. I then disconnected and reconnected the data. When the chart reloaded, the position was still on but the stops and targets were gone. The position then closed out by itself several seconds later.
Message log sent as well.

You would need to look at your Trade Activity Log to see what occurred. Refer to the following information:

I had checked the Trade Activity log. That shows the trades but does not clarify why the DOM and charts froze. The message log had a bunch of messages about creating sockets and then sockets waiting to gracefully close. If there is a setting I need to change on my end, please advise. The trade mentioned had stops and targets removed and then the trade closed with no action on my part, other than disconnecting and reconnecting the stopped charting. Thanks.

Your Message Log shows the following error with the first one in the log at 08:31:49 and the last one in the log at 08:50:52:
DTC Client socket (3) | Close event error. Windows error code 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine. | 2021-10-18 08:31:49.897 *

This means that you lost network connectivity. Refer to the following information:

As to your trade, you would need to look at the Trade Activity Log to see why the trade was closed out. You will need to find the fill that closed it and look at the source of the trade.

It definitely sounds like you experienced some connectivity issue due to the Internet.

Regarding this:
The trade mentioned had stops and targets removed and then the trade closed with no action on my part, other than disconnecting and reconnecting the stopped charting. Thanks.
What you experienced is explained here:
Attached Orders: Reconnected to Different Server (Child Orders Disappear)

Although the above only applies to child orders before the parent order filled. If there was already a position you should have seen the working Target and Stop orders. If not this must have been a TT issue.

Regarding not seeing the child orders, there is no possibility of that issue happening with our new direct order routing service:
Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing

We recommend moving to the Sierra Chart Direct Order Routing service when your broker supports it.
