Hi,

The resting buy and sell orders do not show on the DOM. First time this happened.

Thanks for your help.

This occurred because you did not renew the exchanges that include the Market Depth for September. Rather, you have the following two exchanges active:
- Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for nonprofessional Trading accounts
- CME non-professional top-of-book

Which, by the way, is redundant, as the "CME non-professional top-of=book is included in the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for nonprofessional trading accounts.

Did you, by any chance, mean to activate the "CME with Market Depth for NonProfessionals"?

Thanks for your quick response.

Yes, I meant to activate the "CME with Market Depth for NonProfessionals".

Currently, however, I am moving my account to another trader. I was advised that this may take 3 business days. Would it be alright to continue activation of the above while "in transition"?

We are not sure what you mean by this.

What we can tell you is that the exchanges are tied to your Sierra Chart Account Name. You can NOT change to a different Sierra Chart account and have the activated exchanges move to that other account.

I understand that to activate "CME with Market Depth...", Sierra Chart requires a trading account. I am in the process of closing my current funded account and moving the funds to a new, unfunded account.

My soon to be closed account is (currently) tied up to Sierra Chart, while the new one has not yet be linked to Sierra Chart.

So I'd like to know if I could continue with the activation while this is "in transition" or in the process of transferring and funding my new account which has not yet been tied up with Sierra Chart yet.

Am still doing sim trading but will soon move to live trading when the transfer of funds to my new trading account will be completed.

It is not a problem for you to switch between trading accounts. In terms of the verification of your account for the CME Group, we do that 1 month ahead, so you are currently validated through September 22, 2021. You can see this date at the top of this section where it says "Verified Till":
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges

So as long as you have your new account up and running by the 22nd, you are fine.

My trading account has just been closed as I've requested a transfer of funds to another broker. This new broker has not yet given me the trading account details/ log on credentials.

In the mean time, I could not log on properly to my Sierra Chart account. Pls see attached screenshot.

I was planning to do chart replays and sim trading. Is there a way to connect to data feed even while my trading account with the new broker has not yet been set up?

You need to change your File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data - All Services. You will then not get the error and you will have access to all your data, plus you will get the delayed streaming data for the CME Group and EUREX.

After you change the service, it will ask if you want to update your symbols, be sure you select Yes, as the symbols are different between the different services.

When you get setup with the new broker, you will need to go through the setup for whatever trading service you are using, and you will then want to change the symbols again.

Thanks.

With the new broker, I understand that I just need the CQG connection (for my Denali data feed) and don't have to get CME data from them anymore. Is that correct?

Hi again. Apparently, my new broker does not provide CQG connection and does not work with Sierra Chart.

Is there another way for me to get the CQG so I could continue using my Sierra Chart account?

Does your new broker use either Rithmic or TT for their order routing? We can work with either one of these

Note that with TT, it is the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service that you will be using - refer to the following:

Thanks! Apparently, earlier chat support provided me with the wrong info. My new account with them (Ninja Trader) can work with SC and CQG data connection after all. I have requested for CQG and it seems they have already arranged it.

It looks good. THANKS again.
