i log in to sc and cannot get to charts

directions say log in and select data/trade service setting......i cannot find that....but its there if i get the chart up which i cannot....thanks

The Data/Trade Service Settings are found in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. If you are using TransAct for your broker (which we assume given your Account Name), then if you have not already setup your Sierra Chart, then you will follow these instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to TransAct: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/TransAct.php#SetupInstructions Note that the image on that page for the Data/Trade Service Settings is old and the page you actually bring up will look different. Refer to the information at the following link for how to work with these new windows: Settings Windows Interface Once you are setup, then you will use the File >> Find Symbol to find a symbol for which you want to open a chart. my problem is that i cannot get the sc page to show up.....i have transact infinity futures for many years and in order for me to do what you sent me,i cannot get the charts page......i can open sc information pages via login with sc......i can log into inf futures and before that would automatically open my charts......do you think this might be an infinity question....thanks

It was our understanding that you could still open Sierra Chart using the same mechanism that you did before. You would need to ask Infinity/TransAct if they changed this. In the meantime, you should have an icon on your desktop for Sierra Chart itself, so you should be able to start Sierra Chart from the icon. If that works, and you do not mind, then it may just be easiest to continue to start the TransAct/Infinity software separate from Sierra Chart.
