Should I purchase seirra charts first or wait until my AMP global account is funded? I am wiring the money Monday. If it dosent matter then I will need help with the part where I set up the data and routing. I would prefer to use Denali with routing going through seirra charts. Thanks, |

The account from which you have posted already has paid Sierra Chart Usage Time, so we do not know what you mean about waiting to purchase Sierra Chart. We do see that you have not finished the setup for the Denali Exchange Data Feed. That will need to wait until you have your account setup with AMP. Most likely AMP will set you up with CQG for your order routing. When you get that information, you will then need to follow the instructions at the following link to setup your Sierra Chart to connect to CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions After the above is done, then you can complete the Denali Exchange Data Feed setup. Refer to the instructions at the following link for the CME Group data: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* If you want data for the EUREX then also follow these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DenaliExchangeDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions_EUREX Once all of the above is complete, then open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. hey thanks again for your reply, here is something I copied off your message board so you can have a more clear understanding of what I am talking about since before this I normally just deposit money and start trading and this seems to have a few more steps to initially get started. Notice: Users can experience disconnection issues when using CQG. This can cause a risk with trading. We recommend that new users or users trading the CME Group of markets only, use the Sierra Chart Order Routing service with Data instead of CQG if you just require CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX trading only. Sierra Chart as of November 1, 2019, will only provide support to CQG users within our discretion. We are not able to help with data lagging issues, disconnection issues, or other types of data issues encountered. Ok, So I have funded my AMP account today via wire transfer, They have emailed me letting me know they have received the money and are in the process of setting up my CQG account for order routing. I have not heard back from them and its been about two hrs but I have read that I can use seirra charts for order routing as well as data. I would prefer it that way if at all possible. Can you please advise on how to proceed? thanks in advance. Update: before I sent the message, I noticed that my CQG info has arrived, I have my user name and password. It says I can use these creds wherever CQG/AMP is accepted on trading platforms. Since I already have a user name with seirra charts, how do I link everything? |

i really need help or ima going to just pull my money out bc i am lost and by the time im done i will have bought 500 worth of mess I will not use. The time is way out of wack, I can not get to my live trading account, I have no idea what to do.

If you are interested in using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, then you would need to find a different broker. AMP does not support that service.
