Great.

I'm presently working on my trading execution with real time data. Occasionally, I will execute a trade but it's not the end of the world if I have to wait a month or two for Sierra Chart to finalize the connection to CME. My concern is weather AMP will be a viable broker that supports the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service when SC completes CME order routing transition? I see SC is recommending everybody find another broker in some of the support posts. Is that temporary or long term or unknown.

If I cant use them for trading, can you point me to the correct location on the support forum to setup and use data I paid for to Sierra Charts for 6 Months (with no order routing) to use my real time data for simulation trading and trade plan formulation to continue.

I presently have nothing - not connected - red indicator on charts

First, follow the instructions at this link to resolve your immediate issue:
Removal of TT Trading Accounts from Sierra Chart Accounts for AMP Users

We can not say whether AMP will be a broker for our new CME Direct Routing. We just do not know who will be supporting it and who will not.

In terms of the short-term issue of getting data, you should have been moved to CQG by AMP when they stopped support of the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service. Check with AMP to get your CQG credentials. You can then use that connection to validate your Non-Professional Status to the CME Group.

Once you have your CQG information, use the following instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to CQG:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

I did receive CQG credentials today but I'm not sure if I should move funds to another broker. I just sent AMP another wire transfer and it's in transit so I at least have to wait for that to clear. Since I Selected SC Service Package 11 with Denali Data Feed, I shouldn't have any costs associated with CQG or AMP unless I enter a trade position; is that correct?

I followed the linked instructions and now have charts working as they did prior to AMP ending my account. I'll move forward with CQG for time being in order to establish that I do have a funded trading account to validate non-professional status and also research other brokers you have listed.

Thanks...

I'll reach out to AMP for further questions regarding Costs because I was charged approx. 50 dollars for something. After I setup CQG (to Establish that I do have a funded account and to validate non-professional status), should I switch back to SC Data - All Services to sim trade?

Thanks...

Yes this is correct.

, should I switch back to SC Data - All Services to sim trade?
Yes this will be fine. Refer to:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees

I see SC is recommending everybody find another broker in some of the support posts.
No this is not true. Only if someone wants to continue to use the Sierra Chart order routing service. In this case it would be the only possibility in the interim to use a different broker.

Is there any update on AMP providing the option to use Sierra Chart Order Routing Service when the CME Direct Routing Transition is in place and working (Instead of using CQG)?

If no, Does CQG allow bracket order entries (Does it work similar to previous TT-FIX Account)?

Thanks

All we can do is point you to our thread where we are updating the information on our status for our CME Direct Order Routing:
Now Released: Upcoming CME Direct Routing

Does CQG allow bracket order entries (Does it work similar to previous TT-FIX Account)?

Refer to the following:

It's been a while since I've checked on this and it can be confusing with everything going on; SC plans with exchange, etc.

I'm presently in, I think, the 2nd or 3rd month of my SC package 11 six month pre paid plan and have been regularly Sim Trading but would like to know if there is an alternative to using AMP with CQG order routing (Ideally, similar to AMP/SC account prior to AMP dropping TT order routing). I was hoping AMP would work something out with SC order routing once the CME order routing/testing was completed. Is there any more information on this, something I could have missed on the support forum?

Thanks,

Michael
