I'm trying to visualize cumulative delta bars volume on a daily chart. I set the chart as intraday only, going back 200 days, but I now all my studies go back only a few days.
I am a new user, I tried to check my trade service settings and intraday file update list in global settings but nothing changed.
I tried to work around it but I can not find any solution or understand why it's now working.

These are the two chart of ES with standard historical daily settings and the intraday 1-0-0 to get the delta:

The first thing we want you to check is that the Scale for the Cumulative Delta Bars is set to Automatic. Or at least make sure that this is not a scaling issue and the data is just off the top. Refer to the information here for adjusting the scale settings:

Thank you for your answer John, I was afraid to write you! :)
All scales in the chart are set to automatic: not only delta, but the moving averages too and the price itself.

I left on the chart the delta and the moving average studies, because both display this problem in the same way.
Maybe it can help, I started my subscription on Feb 19th.

What you are seeing with the Moving Average is simply due to the fact that you have them set to a length of 60. Therefore, they do not start until 60 bars have passed.

We are not able to reproduce what you are seeing with the Cumulative Delta Bars, but this would most likely be due to issues with the data feed. Since you are on CQG, the historical data only goes back a few days, so we think what you are seeing is due to that. One way to alleviate this issue is to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed instead.

Ok thank you for the information.
I heard many times about Denali but I've never used it.
Do you consider it a better choice for trading in general or only for charting?

As for the moving averages, I tried to go back 200 days instead of 100, to see if the problem was about the length of 60 but nothing changed, so I think the issue is with the CQG stingy historical setup.

You definitely need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for the proper market data.

Hello
I guess I have the same problem as described here before, by the User495360.

- When I am scrolling back arround 6-7 Days, I see the chart candles but the studies are not displayed anymore.
- But I need to scroll for example 100 Days backward and check some tradingsetups in relation to the Studies.

- I am using the Denali Datafeed.
(Now when reading your answers above, I hope I have not set anyting wrong regarding the Datafeed/Historical data.)

- For Information: I am using an Intradaychart. Before scrolling backward I have just changed the setting (chart Settings - Main Settings - Use number of Days to load) from 1 to 300. The Days are loaded, as saied before, I see the candles.

Thanks very much!
