Hi, I'm a Sierra Chart/Denali-TT user trying to clarify the current situation. I've received an email yesterday from AMP trading that "Sierra TT FIX will no longer be supported on any exchanges", but while trying to get more info from AMP support got an impression that it's still being worked on, hence the question.

1. Is it still being fixed and if yes, how long would it take approximately. If it's not that long, then I'd prefer to wait rather than switching back and forth. If this is not being fixed, and TT indeed, is no longer supported through Sierra(with AMP), then before I go ahead and submit the request to switch to Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG (order routing only), wanted to clarify:

a. Will my performance and stability be affected by switching to CQG routing?
I know Sierra uses an internal cross link in the Aurora data center with TT which reduces latency + Internet connection as a backup in case of connectivity loss. How will it work if/when I switch to Sierra/Denali with CQG(order routing only) ?

b. It has been mentioned earlier that Sierra Chart works on its own CME order routing. Will that option be available with AMP when you finish this as I'd really want to stay with Sierra Chart.

Thank you in advance for all the help with this.

OK, Saw this one Questions and Answers Regarding TT (Trading Technologies) and AMP
Got b. answered. Looking forward to Sierra's own direct CME order routing.
Could you kindly touch briefly a. so I know, at least, what to expect in terms of performance/stability before I go ahead and request AMP to switch to CQG routing.

thank you again for help and time.

All we can say is we describe the advantages with the Sierra Chart order routing service as compared other services like CQG here:

So you then will know what the differences are.

Thank yo very much for your response and help with this.
Just wanted to ask/clarify one more time if there anything is being done on Sierra's side to resolve Sierra/Denali-TT FIX issue (AMP broker).
Asking because during my conversation with AMP support I've got an impression that it's currently being fixed despite the fact that AMP sent an email stating that it's no longer supported. If indeed it's not being worked on and is no longer supported (on AMP) then I will go ahead and ask AMP to switch to Sierra/Denali-CQG order routing( Until Sierra has its own direct CME order routing ). Thank you again very much for all your time and help.

The Sierra Chart Order Routing Service is working and has been since TT fixed their issues.

But, AMP has decided that they are no longer going to use TT for order routing, therefore the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service is no longer available through AMP.

Therefore, if you are going to stay with AMP, then you will need to switch to CQG for your order routing.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thank you John very much for quick and clear response. Thank you indeed. Will switch to Sierra/Denali - CQG order routing for time being.
Please let us know when you do have your own direct CME order routing service. Thanks again very much.

Just be aware that the data are different. At first they told me that it would be real-time Denali data and CQG orders, but I verified that it is not. Trading systems may be affected.

Sigh! . . thank you for the note.
Confused to be honest. Are we saying that data that is being shown not the one that Denali provides ? I'm going to be getting data from Denali as per their msg.
If I'm getting Denali data, using that data to send LMT order and . . .it goes through to CQG . . hm . . trying to understand what you were trying to say. Could you kindly help with what exactly seemed to be wrong.

Are we saying that the data they claim was Denali in fact was not ?

User860187:

You are getting your data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed.

In order to validate this, look for an '[M]' (no quotes) at the end of the symbol information in your Chart Header. Refer to the information towards the end of this section which explains the '[M]' symbol:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thx John very much. Yes, I'm getting Denali, checked that, thank you. I was referring to sgne message (if/when switched to Denali -CQG).
I didn't request the change yet. Still hope AMP will change their position and allow Sierra/Denali- TT FIX. It wasn't in my plans to leave/change AMP, not now . . .at least.
Thought to switch to Sierra/Denali-CQH till you have your own CME direct, but . . well, don't know anybody who switched to this configuration and confirmed it worked.Just wanted to get more info on what sgne was saying.
This conv stays private, I'm not using it in my conv with AMP. not with anybody as a matter of fact.
Thanks again very much for all your help with this.
