Hi, I aam not reciving data for NYSE/NASDAQ Stocks. The charts anot not updating at all. The last updated time shows as 10.25am US Time. |

You are not setup to receive real-time data for U.S. Stocks. What you are seeing is the Historical Data. Refer to the information here: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service If you are interested in getting Real-Time data for U.S. Stocks, then you would need to enable the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and activate the U.S. Equities exchange. Yes, I am looking forward to trade US Stocks on Simulation with Real Time Feed. Do I need a funded Broker Account to receive a Real Time Data Feed on a Simulated account ? Also, I will be using Cummulative Delta Indicator. Will I receieve Actual Bid and Ask volumes for all US Stocks ? Thanks. |

You do not need a funded broker account in order to get the Real-Time U.S. Stock Data. That requirement is just for the CME Group. Our U.S. Equities data does include the Bid and Ask trade information. But, just so you are aware, it does NOT include Level 2 Market Depth Data. The U.S. Equities data is part of the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. The cost is the following: - Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed activation fee (250 symbols): $25.00 - U.S. Equities exchange: $10.50 Total: $35.50 The number of symbols is how many concurrent symbols you can track within the Sierra Chart software. For example, we had someone wanting to watch the entire NASDAQ in his quote board, which would be approximately 3300 symbols at the same time. If you are just watching a few symbols, then the 250 limit will be more than enough. You need one of the packages to be able to use Sierra Chart for anything. That is a separate cost from the Data.

Hi, Have activated subscriptions for US Equities. I have a Live Account with Interactive Brokers. Is it possible to connect my Sierra Chart with IB so that I can execute Trades from Sierra Chart ? Is there an additional fee for that ? Thanks, |

No, at least not for Sierra Chart. You may need to have it in order to get data into their software, but that is something you will need to look into.

Sorry Jon, too consufing to me.. If I choose IB from the drop down list under Data/Trade Service Settings, does it mean I will receieve the Market Data from IB ? If Yes, it does not make sense to me as I have paid additional for SC Data Feed too. Also, if I place an order from Sierra Chart, will the order be placed on IB ? As long as you are paying for data from us, and you have the option for File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds set to Yes, then when you have Interactive Brokers selected as your service, then you will still get the data from us. Basically, we give priority to our data feed first, then if you are not getting the data from us, you will get it from your trading service. Just go through the Setup Instructions to connect to IB and you will be fine.
