Setting up Sierra Chart to trade US stocks

Hello,

I am trying to set up Sierra Chart to trade stocks with my Interactive Brokers account while using real time data from Sierra Chart.
I have activated BATS data feed in my account panel.

When using Interactive Brokers trading service, I went to Find Symbol > Stocks > BATS Exchange > typed in TSLA.BZ or AAPL.BZ
It does not work, data feed does not even update real time. Am I doing something wrong or is it because the only symbols that are mapped to the trading service are listed in "Specific Stocks"? (none of them are BATS symbols)

If there is any way I can configure the symbol settings to make it work, I can do that but I would need instructions

Thanks

When using Interactive Brokers there is no mapping to BATS symbols. You need to activate the US equities exchange instead.

Unless you set Sierra Chart to use the SC Data-All Services service.

I have activated the US equities data feed as you advised. But it is not working. Charts are not being updated in real time both with Interactive Brokers or SC Data service.

When I delete and download data, new data is downloaded up to present time but there is still no real time update after that.

Edit : It started working with SC Data Service immediately after activating CME data on the Denali data feed, I do not understand how this should be related. But it still does not work with Interactive Brokers trading service.

The first thing to check is that you have the option for File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support For Sierra Chart Data Feeds set to Yes.

The next thing is to make sure you have the correct symbols for the selected service. Refer to the following for the symbols naming for Interactive Brokers Stocks:
Interactive Brokers Symbols: Stock Format

If you continue to have a problem then we would need to see your Message Log following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
