SC support board has posted similar issues, however it does not appear to be similar to mine. I have followed through the Support Board suggestions and their suggestions have not helped me. CQQ has also replied to me that it is not a CQG issue. I get live data, however I am missing Historical Data when I open SC. My charts were working fine through Thursday's close.

We are no longer as of December 28, 2020 providing the Sierra Chart provided historical data service for CQG or Interactive Brokers users. For more information, refer to this Support Board thread:
Jan 1, 2021 Changes to Historical Data: Interactive Brokers, CQG

The solution to this problem is to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for CME and EUREX data. Step-by-step instructions are here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

The first calendar month of this data feed is free. Let us know if you need help with the set up and we will help you through all of the steps.

In the case of CQG you will then need to contact your broker and cancel CME and EUREX exchange fees through your CQG account so you do not pay exchange fees twice. You definitively do not have to pay any market data exchange fees through your brokerage account to CQG. This is not required.

For other exchanges (ICE, HKFE) you need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed

As an alternative to CQG, we recommend using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

In regards to using CQG provided historical data, we definitely do not recommend using that. It has an additional cost of 25 USD per month. The data delivery is slow and inefficient and causes Sierra Chart to freeze during the processing of it. Only 5 days of tick data is supported from CQG. And only current futures contracts are provided.

Whereas with Sierra Chart provided data feeds, you will have access to 10+ years of reliable high-speed delivered tick by tick data. Once again we do not advise using CQG historical data and it will not work well with Sierra Chart. And we also provide no technical help or support for any CQG provided historical data or real-time data.

If I switch to Denali Exchange Data feed, can I do that through ADM Investors, High Ridge Futures? If so, what info do I need to pass on the them? Thank you

The Denali data feed is not specific to any particular broker or clearing firm. It does not involve them at all. Simply follow through the setup instructions here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

We can help you through the set up, just let us know if you want us to do that.

However, once you start using the Denali Exchange Data Feed, contact your broker and have them cancel all exchange fees that are active on your CQG account. You no longer need those.

Yes please, I need your help to set up Denali Exchange. Will this replace CQG totally for my historical and intraday data? Will I also be executing through the Denali Exchange? I'm Est. and available as soon as you are. Preferable today as soon as possible. Thank you.

Go to this page:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeAgreements

And complete the following two agreements:

Needs to be completed: Uniform Subscriber Agreement - [Please update the Current Data above to be able to complete the agreement]
Needs to be completed: CME Non Professional Certification - [Please update the Current Data above to be able to complete the agreement]

You also need to update your account information as required. A telephone number is required.

Will this replace CQG totally for my historical and intraday data?
Yes and you need to contact your broker and cancel the exchange fees you pay through CQG, so you are not billed in January. This is possible. You do not have to pay any exchange fees through your broker once you are using the Denali data feed. If you need any help from us explaining this to your broker let us know.

You will still be executing through CQG.

You have the agreements filled out, but you have not yet activated the Data Feed itself or selected the exchanges. We can take care of this for you, but we need to know what exchange(s) you want to have activated for the Denali Exchange Data Feed? You will find the list of Exchanges here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Supported Exchanges (Exchange Fees)

If you want to do this yourself, just follow through the rest of the Setup Instructions starting here:

I tried to Activate the first choice for $31.20 with Market Depth twice and it failed. You can do it if that saves time. You can also call me on the # that's on file if that's faster. Thank you.

You needed to activate the Data Feed itself first. Then you can choose the exchange.

We have taken care of this for you and activated the exchange. You should be receiving real-time data now. If not, then select File >> Disconnect, then File >> Connect to Data Feed.

Note that the data feed is free for the remainder of this month, but you will need to pay for them starting on January 1, 2021. The total cost for the data feed with the selected exchange is $56.20 USD.

So make sure you have enough funds in your account before January 1, 2021 to cover the cost of the data feed and your Sierra Chart usage time.

It's working. Thank you. So now I have to tell my brokerage to not charge me for exchange fees? Do I still pay for CQG?
[2020-12-29 17:05:33]
John - SC Support - Posts: 31362
Yes, you need to tell your brokerage that you no longer want the data from CQG.

You will still be doing order routing through CQG, so you will be paying for the order fees related to CQG order routing and your brokerage fees.

Ok, I will contact my brokerage and cancel CQG data. Do I also need to go into Data/Trade Service Settings and switch CQG WebAPI to either SC Data -All Services [data] or SC Futures Order Routing/Data [trading]?
[2020-12-29 17:34:07]
John - SC Support - Posts: 31362
No. You will keep your Service Setting the way it is, as that determines your trading service, which stays as CQG.

The one thing you want to make sure of, on that page, is that the option for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is Enabled.
