Hello SC

I was recommended this software for trading futures from a friend. I would to like to try out the real time cme data feed but I need to sign the agreements.

I signed the first one called 'Uniform Subscriber Agreement' and it got rejected!

Do you know why? Have I done something wrong?

I just wrote my first and last name and clicked submit.

It looks like that was just a mistake, as the message that is associated with the rejection is an incorrect one.

We see you have filled out the forms again and resubmitted them. You should be good, but if there is an issue you will see a message with the rejection stating the issue.

It says 'Rejected: Please complete the Uniform Subscriber Agreement document, then re-complete this certification. Thank you'

What does this mean?

I completed the 'Uniform Subscriber Agreement' and then I completed the 'CME Non-Professional Certification'. Based on your conditions, I don't qualify as a non professional. I am looking to open an account soon.

Please could you highlight what the problem is?

Thank you

First, you filled out the forms stating that you are Professional by selecting "No" to the question "Certified as Non-Professional". You also then activated a Professional exchange.

In order to undo this, you will need to fill out the agreements again. When doing so, the first thing to do is to make sure you enter a Clearing Firm and an Account Number for your trading account in the Uniform Subscriber Agreement. This is necessary as the CME Group requires that you have a trading account in order to qualify as a Non-Professional. Refer to the information here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

Next, when you fill out the CME Non Professional Certification, you need to select Yes to the question Certified as Non-Professional.

If you do not do all of these as specified, then you will continue to get rejections and only be able to activate the Professional exchanges.

If you do not have a trading account then we recommend using this service:

I really appreciate your help!

I can see that the agreements have been accepted. I did the exact same thing as the first time I signed which is the reason I'm asking Why has it been rejected before but accepted now?

Thank you

We think the first rejection was a mistake, as we stated previously.

But the recently accepted agreements have you as a Professional. If you are a Professional and need to pay the Professional exchange fees, then you do not need to do anything more.

But, if you are a Non-Professional and you want to pay the Non-Professional Exchange Fees, then you will need to redo the agreements in the manner we stated in Post #4.
