v2168, this issue is unchanged in the multiple instances, a new startup or switching symbols returns to downloading state again where it has already been downloaded previously and also set to constantly update intraday file list.

Thank you, I actually found the trick a user shared here of deleting all old daily files in all instances, and it finally seems resolved: Continuous contract data is re-downloaded on startup | Post: 214664 . Since this worked for multiple users, you may want to document this.

It still reverts to downloading state again on symbol change even after already downloaded previously, but only for a few seconds now instead of minutes, assume this is normal?

I have a couple other issues to fix, want to minimize your time spent, do you prefer here, all in one other thread, or separate threads for each?

That procedure of deleting files does not make sense to us. If there is some issue with the historical data in a Continuous Futures Contract chart, causing the data to be re-downloaded for some unknown reason which would not make sense to us, then just simply follow the procedure here to re-download the data for all contract months:
Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data

It still reverts to downloading state again on symbol change even after already downloaded previously,
Yes this makes sense if there was no data previously downloaded on the current connection or in the case of a historical daily chart if the rules for downloading have been met.
