Hi There

Can you please explain why I my am getting the recharge message when I still have 128.32 USD in my account.

It says-:

" -Notice: Your Services Balance of 128.32 USD is too low to renew the Services activated on your account when they expire. You need a balance of at least 302.4 USD. You can view the Recurring Services. To activate and deactivate services on your account, go to the Services Activation page. (Current Usage Time Ending Date: 2020-05-12). You will need to make a payment of 175 USD. "

You received that message because you were set to renew for Package 5 for 12 months. As such, the amount to be deducted is $302.40 USD.

At this time, your Usage Time has ended as there was not enough funds to renew as of May 12, 2020. You can either add funds to your account and continue with this same package or you can change the timeframe and/or package level.

You can add funds to your account here:

And you can renew your service here and change the number of months for the Usage Time purchase:

But what about the 128.32 USD which is still remaining in the account. Why you are not letting it become zero? Then only will I renew it! That is equivalent to atleast 4 months of usage time. Isnt it?
I dont understand this recharging of account much before it becomes zero?
This means if I make a payment of 175 USD, again you will ask for a payment after 7-8 months saying, the balance is not there!
I am confused!

You can pay for your Sierra Chart software usage in blocks of 1, 3, 6, or 12 months at a time. As you pay up front for more months, you get a larger discount on the Per Month equivalent payment.

For example, 1 month of Package 5 is $36.00 USD per month, and each month that amount will be deducted from your Account Balance. If you pay for 12 months up front, you pay a total of $302.40 USD or the equivalent of $25.20 USD per month, meaning you get a 30% discount, but the full amount has to be deducted up front.

We do not just take the amount of the balance in your account and determine the amount of time available from that.

Therefore, it is up to you as to how you want to pay for the usage. But, if you do not have the full amount available for the time frame that you have chosen (which was 12 months previously) then it will not automatically renew.
