I recently switched from Rithmic to Denali due to constant data interruptions with Rithmic. I reached out to SC Support and was informed to switch to Denali Datafeed under the assumption that the service was superior. After roughly 2 weeks of using Denali (saying this nicely) there is not much of a difference from my issues with Rithmic. Only perk is that instead of the data disconnecting and being interrupted, it just lags very frequently. If a large influx of of volume begins to enter the market, the data will freeze. Thanks to the delayed data timer in the top of the chart window I've been able to keep better track of this recently. It was a major issue for me last week when it froze as I was about to place a trade. Today I am experiencing the same issue with even more frequency today. Usually when it lags after about 20-30 of delaying it will catch up, but today that is not the case 2 - 4 Minutes of delayed data today. I have had to revert back to my tactics with Rithmic and manuallly disconnect my datafeed and reconnect at times in order to begin receiving Real-Time Data.

In this case, this is an issue with your Internet connection and the amount of bandwidth being used. Refer to the instructions here to manage this issue:
Prices / Data Falling Behind: 4.12 - Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feeds

Any data feed can lag including the Denali Exchange Data Feed if the data is being sent at a rate faster than it is being received.

Also we have never noticed any case of the data freezing and this is monitoring it from another location on the opposite side of the world with 1400 levels of depth. And this is monitoring ES at the 930US Eastern time open but we will check each of the servers over the next few days.

Over the years, sometimes we do hear about this kind of issue where users say the data feed will stop, although rarely, but this has always been an Internet connectivity issue affecting that one particular user. And the Internet connectivity in the Chicago area is not well-regarded. The general theory of the problem is that it relates to remote acknowledgments because if those are not reaching it back to the server, the server is going to stop transmitting data for the user.

So one suggestion would be to try a different ISP. We are also setting up new infrastructure on the West Coast of the US, and we can relay data out of there.

Changed wireless router network to my cpu from 2.4Ghz to 5.0Ghz which increased bandwidth from 20mhz to 80 mhz. For some reason my CPU doesn't automatically choose the 5g connection, had to disable the 2.4g option on the network. Delayed data timer read -00:00:01 for rest of the day. Thanks again!
