Hello,

I changed to Denali/TT combo yesterday and I have been having problems since than.

The platform is showing open positions in the Chart Stats tab although I have confirmed flat with AMP.
Also the Account Balances tab shows that over 100 USD was taken from my account today despite the fact that I am up about 30 USD today.
And I cannot see the trades that I made today in the Trade tab.

So it appears that Sierra Chart is showing incorrect values and is acting strange when I want to close positions.

When I entered the trades it gave me an error message in the log.

Could you please help me with this?

Thank you very much.

Tomas

The platform is showing open positions in the Chart Stats tab although I have confirmed flat with AMP.
Update Sierra Chart to the current version:
Software Download: Fast Update

For the charts that you see on the Trade Stats for Charts tab, make sure this option is enabled for each one:
Chart Settings: Filter Initial Fills Which Are Part of Existing Position (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu)

And set the Order Fills Start Date-Time to 0:
Chart Settings: Order Fills Start Date-Time (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading menu)

If you still have a problem, then refer to:
Trade Activity Log: Solving Inaccurate Trade Statistics for Charts Field Values

Also the Account Balances tab shows that over 100 USD was taken from my account today despite the fact that I am up about 30 USD today.
Regarding these fields of data, refer to:

https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php#UnsupportedPositionAndAccountBalanceFields

They can be slow to update. And if there any inaccuracies this is not within our control.

And I cannot see the trades that I made today in the Trade tab.
This step should not be relevant to the issue but we want you to convert the trade activity format as explained here:

Select File >> Disconnect.
Select Global Settings >> Convert Trade Activity Format.
Select File >> Connect to Data Feed.
This procedure only needs to be done once.

After that, follow the instructions here:

Thank you for the instructions, but unfortunately, I was not able to correct the problems.

1) Sierra Chart updated to the current version.
2) In my charts, there is no RefBy: #, so I could not complete this step.
3) The Order Fills Start Date-Time collums are blank, so I do not know if I need to do something with it.

I can see the correct sum in my Account Balances tab now. It corrected by itself after some time.

But I still cannot see any trades in the Trade tab (I converted trade activity format, etc. but no good).
And in the Chart Stats tab, it is still showing an open position.

Thank you.

2. You must be looking at the wrong documentation. You are talking about chart references by studies and this is wholly unrelated. Not sure how you got to that documentation. We did not link to it.

But I still cannot see any trades in the Trade tab (I converted trade activity format, etc. but no good).
Select the Trade >> Trade Activity Log >> Trade Activity menu item and then provide a screenshot of the top of the Trade Activity Log:

And in the Chart Stats tab, it is still showing an open position.
In regards to this, follow the steps here:
