Problem with Symbol by accessing it via DTC server

I'm running two installations of Sierra, one with SC Data Feed, the other with CQG.
I've set up the SC Data Feed instance as the Source, and I'm accessing NQM20-$IUXX symbol with the CQG instance via DTC server as described here: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time
NQM20-$IUXX works fine.
Now, if I do the same process of accessing a symbol with ESM20-$INX, I get the error 'download failed'
What could be the reason?
Thank you!

The reason would be incorrect Symbol Settings for the ESM20-$INX.

However, you cannot real-time data for either of those. Since you do not have the proper exchange authorizations on the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.

But those premium symbols are now considered the older method of how to do premiums. We have now prepared this new method:
Custom Calculated Symbols: Stock Index Futures Premiums

We apologize for the delay with response, we just needed to do some testing and verification and prepare this documentation.

Ok, the link explains how the new method works, but in my case, where should I set up the custom symbol you described in the link?
In the SC Data Feed instance or CQG instance of Sierra?
I need this premium symbol on my CQG instance where I execute my trades.
I tried now to create this symbol with my CQG account but the chart shows no reaction, no "symbol not found" error, no "download error", just plain background.
The $INX symbol is accessible but the chart shows data only until March 18th.
By trying to duplicate the $INX symbol (to access it through DTC on the other instance where the data is complete) I get the error "Settings already exist for this symbol".
I'm not sure what I'm getting wrong.

First, we need to understand why it is you are using two instances. We see you are using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, which is limited to one connection.

You have activated EUREX and S&P Indices, however the data for both of those, can be accessed in the instance of Sierra Chart connected to CQG. No need to use a separate installation/instance of Sierra Chart.

To calculate the premium in the CQG instance you would need to use this symbol:
{F.US.EPM20}-{$INX}

However, for this to work, you need to not use the other instance of Sierra Chart and you need to enable this on the CQG instance:
Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds
