I have been with Sierra now for many years now & last evening I closed my charts down as I have always done. This morning I opened as them as usual but found the charts to be very unresponsive. The screens intermittently flicker but only in Sierra?. All other programs on my pc are fine & work correctly. Its has run smoothly with IQ feed for several years now & the data feed is fine ,it has been checked. I'm unable to properly drag the charts around, I can't operate the short cut menu & operate this properly?. When I go to save the charts it won't let me there is a big delay. I'm unable to type the day/date in the save as box etc. I've talked to IQ feed & even the co. who built my machine about how to resolve this, no joy.I do save the charts to a Dropbox file each evening, Sierra charts is on a lap top I have. I can open the files on the laptop from the Dropbox file from within Sierra. I don't seem to have any issues moving things around on the lap top with typing in from the short cut menu etc it seems ok. I know of a few others that are using Sierra & are reporting NO issues.
You maybe thinking uninstall & start again?, but I have noticed that my charts saved in Dropbox has some details missing which isn't good so I'm reluctant to do that. please advise your help will be greatly appreciated as I have currently exhausted all other avenues before contacting you.

First thing we recommend you do is restart your computer.

Definitively do not reinstall Sierra Chart. That is completely unnecessary and will accomplish nothing.

One of the first things we want to check is whether the option for Use OpenGL is enabled or not. You will find this under Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other >> Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics. If that is enabled, then disable it and restart Sierra Chart.

The next thing is to review the items in help topic 30:
