stops updating the chart

I have two accounts on the SOL platform. Demo and production. If I join the demo account after a few seconds, it stops updating the chart. SC is still connected. Everything is fine in the production account.

I am having a similar problem. I am using a different platform just fine. Around the same time, an OEC/GAIN Demo account I have, the feed goes for a few minutes, and then it stops. Even with a new copy of sierra charts, and just 1 symbol. No error messages in the log that I can see and also the connection shows that it is still connecting and the DF: #### keep increasing in numbers.
The only thing I can see that keeps going, is the closest bid and ask numbers are changing.. but at the wrong price. So this is a known OEC/GAIN issue?

Yes there are recent problems with the Gain Capital FIX FAST data feed.

Hello,
I still have a problem connecting to GAIN Capital / OEC. When I join a DEMO account (sim.gianfutures.com), the chart stops updating after a while. There is no error in the log. The Status Bar indicates that it is connected. I have only one chart and one symbol (RTY) open. If you want to test it, I will provide login to DEMO account. I tried it from different computers and on different internet connections.

Ok we see that you are on the Standard Sierra Chart service package. You need to use the Advanced service package (5):

To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

You will need to login if you are not currently logged in.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button.

The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price.

There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted.
