hi,
reading these instructions is like reading a bad novel. its overly verbose and time consuming.

im hoping you can simply answer this question rather than referring me to some sc treatise. what does the 100 symbol for the data feed mean? if i sign up for nyse and nasdaq. does it mean i cant look at 100 symbols or more for the month? or simultaneously? or what?

also, does this include real time tick data? and for how long back?

We will not state what the documentation already states very well. There is a reason why refer to documentation because it is complete and comprehensive. Otherwise, we can make mistakes and leave information out and waste a lot of unnecessary time.

The answer to your question is also at step 9 here:
Getting Started, Opening Charts and Basic Trading: Open Chart

100 symbols refers to any mix of 100 symbols receiving data for in real time at the same time.

As far as what is included, refer to:

ok thank you.

I just bought SC data. can you please tell me how much historical data I will get say for the 15m chart? 4h chart?

right now, Im only getting 1 month back to September 2019 for 15m and same for 4h chart. that doesn't make any sense. I should be able to view at least 1 year back on any timeframe

To access more historical Intraday data:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Downloading/Viewing More Historical Intraday Data

If there is any missing data, refer to:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Retrying the Download When There is Data in the Chart

From the information at the link given above:
At least 1 Year of historical tick by tick data is provided for US stocks. Prior to this the US stock data is in 1 minute units and begins in 2008.

Hi User718663,

You made a great choice for buying sc as it has many many many options. These options however come with the responsibility of knowing how to use them. This will not come overnight and certainly not with others sponing it to you.

We should be happy with the extensive documentation support is willing to link us to. Trading is not like reading a novel as you just found out. Its hard work. Almost everything you need is in the box. You just need to see the joy of rubbing it the right way.

Welcome. Enjoy the ride.
