I am trying to setup SC to trade through interactive brokers. I have it set to the SC data feed and trading through IB and it auto logs me in to IB when I open SC. I can pull up an account window summary and it shows my IB account connected. However, whenever I turn off simulation mode to trade and i enter a trade on the DOM it immediately enters it back in simulation mode. I can't select my account from the dropdown list on the DOM control panel. I have also changed the symbol for trade only mode to the correct symbol for IB. (ES is different for IB vs sierra chart).

I am trying to connect Sierra Chart to an Interactive Brokers paper trading / simulation account to ensure that connectivity works well before I switch to live trading. I followed the steps listed and the account is connected. I have also ensured that "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" box is ticked and followed through with "Translate Symbols to Current Service".

I get the following error messages:

(1) "Symbol Settings not found for symbol. Unable to build continuous futures contract"
(2) Historical data not subscribed for (this message is from IB) - I shouldn't be getting this message since I am using Sierra Chart Data Feeds.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Tell us the symbol of the chart. It sounds like you are not using the correct symbol.
