How can I display a historical chart for the day session only 09:30 to 16:15 ET?
When I display a day period chart the session times are blanked so I can't specify the time.

The instruction you gave (link below) to display the daily bar for the day session have worked fine.
Chart Session Times: Creating Daily Bars with Custom Session Times

The only issue I have is the historical data for this chart is not complete before September 2018.
I have set the contract to rollover (using date rule) but this did not fix the problem - is there a way to display further back?
I tested this using the CQG symbol ENQU19.

On a separate topic is it possible to set the date format to DD-MM-YY or DD-MM-YYYY?

Is it not possible to use Historic charts with day time session only?

I prefer not to have use Intraday charts.

It is not possible since you want specific times only.
