Hi

Am a transact user. Just down loaded the latest version of Sierra Charts. 1928 32 bit(27267:27269)

When I start Sierra Charts through Transact it starts the 64 bit version. I have 3 or 4 custom indicators that are 32 bit and do not work on the 64 bit version.

How do I start a 32 bit version through transact?

Thank you

Thank you. I have already checked this option. The 64 bit box is not checked.
An update. I have 2 versions of Sierra charts on my PC. Transact and Sierra direct.
My dll's will not run on the newest transact version of sierra charts Ver 1928 32 bit (27267:27269)
My dll's will run on my direct account of Sierra charts running version 1882-32 bit 26436.
Just upgraded the direct Sierra chart software to Ver 1928 32 bit (27267:27269). Guess what now my dll's will not run on the newest version of software in my direct account.
Some type of incompatibility has occurred between the two versions. Have you had any reports to support this?
Have attached one of the dll's that is having the problem.

What is going on?

Can I get the old version of software (1882-32-bit 26436) uploaded back onto my PC. Followed the instructions on support board on how to accomplish this and was not given an option to down loan a previous version.

I will be home all day tomorrow. Can someone please help me.
I am more than willing to pay for phone support to get this corrected.

Please help cannot trade at this point.

Hello:

Was able to roll back the software version to 1882-32-bit 26436 on Sierra charts.

My dlls now work. But I still need to find out why they will not work on the newer version 1928. Need to upgrade Sierra charts soon.

Please tell me what needs to be done or what is wrong.

Ok we understand the reason for this. It is explained here:
Notice: Studies Compiled With Version 1224 And Lower Will Need To Be Recompiled

Do you have access to the source code for the custom study? If not, what does the custom study do? Maybe there is an alternative for it.

To go back to an earlier version of Sierra Chart, here is the relevant documentation for that:

Thank you for letting me know what is happening.

3 of my dll's were done by Al Slane. He is/was a programmer there at Sierra charts. Does he still work there? Can you put in in contact with him?

The most important dll I am not sure who wrote the code. Trying to find out. The code is very simple, it puts a user definable dot on the price bar at either the bar open or close. Is there a way to recreate that?

Can you recommend a programmer that I can hire to reprogram my dll's if there is not a solution.

The dot may have a work around in Sierra charts.

No Al has not worked for us for a long time. Do you have the original source code?

Try using the Marker tool instead:
Chart Drawing Tools: Marker

And enable snapping on creation:
Chart Drawing Tools: Automatic Snapping of Chart Drawing Ends to Open, High, Low or Close Bar Values

No he did not give me the source code.
Will look at the info you are referencing and see if I can make it work. Not a programmer type.(-:

Thank you
