New user. I use a standard volume indicator on the bottom of a 60 min chart. It does not draw a volume bar on every price bar. I also have 15 min chart with volume indicator. It shows bars in reduced chart size, but if I maximize chart it then only shows some periods. The time that show when others are missing varies. I don't believe I changed any settings other than color when I added the study. Trading currency futures.

Check the Study Subgraph color settings to make sure all of the colors are not the same as the background color. Those seem fine. Black background, blue bars. It appears to be in the values setting of the study. Possibly the scale or the value format. Format set to 1. I had horizontal grid on in the area but unchecked it on chart settings. Volume on data panel drops to 4 digit as it disappears, shows as we move to 5 or 6 digit.

It appears as if I am getting huge spikes in the volume. Hourly volume even during London session of currency futures is 4 to 5 figures. Then will spike to 7 or more for the hours that the bar shows. On closer look there are little dots at the margin, meaning very small bars reflecting the huge difference in the reading. I don't believe on an hourly basis that is correct. Feed is from IB.
