Converging drawings

Hi
The online manual specifies the exact same steps when there are converging drawings, whether I want to move vs adjust a drawing.

"If there are multiple Chart Drawings converging at the point where you left click to select a drawing, then multiple drawings may be selected. These drawings will be drawn with numbers for identification.
Enter the drawing number from the keyboard"

All good up to here... but then, whether I want to move or adjust, the guide says exactly the same in both cases:

"Enter the drawing number from the keyboard, and the drawing move will start after pressing the Enter key on the keyboard."
vs
"Enter the drawing number from the keyboard, and the drawing adjustment will start after pressing the Enter key on the keyboard."

What I want is to adjust, not move, and the above steps result in a move in all cases.
How do I get to adjust, instead of move?
Let's say I have hztal line overlaying one side of a rectangle, and I want to adjust the line, extending it. I don't want to move the line, but extend it, i.e. pull it form one extreme... How can I select the line? the guide steps causes the line to be in "move" mode.

Thanks

The information in the documentation is correct. What can be confusing is where you are selecting the drawing. If you are selecting a drawing at the anchor points (the ends for a line, for example), then it will be in Adjust mode, as the system assumes you want to adjust the end point. If you are selecting away from the anchor points, then it is assuming you want to perform a Move.

In the situation you describe, which we have tried and verified that it works, if the line ends at the end of the rectangle, and you are selecting at that location, if you select the line number, then it should be in adjust mode.

The other option is to simply right-click on the drawing you want to adjust away from where the convergence occurs and select the Adjust Drawing option from the Tools Menu that is presented. You will find the information on doing this here:

If you still have trouble with this, then please attach a Chartbook with one chart that contains the drawing tools that you are having a problem with and we will ensure that everything is working properly with those drawings. Follow the instructions here for how to do this:
