The information in the documentation is correct. What can be confusing is where you are selecting the drawing. If you are selecting a drawing at the anchor points (the ends for a line, for example), then it will be in Adjust mode, as the system assumes you want to adjust the end point. If you are selecting away from the anchor points, then it is assuming you want to perform a Move.

In the situation you describe, which we have tried and verified that it works, if the line ends at the end of the rectangle, and you are selecting at that location, if you select the line number, then it should be in adjust mode.

The other option is to simply right-click on the drawing you want to adjust away from where the convergence occurs and select the Adjust Drawing option from the Tools Menu that is presented. You will find the information on doing this here:
