Hi,

I upgraded my SierraChart instances:

my direct subscription to Sierrachart to 1850 (64Bit) 25512M
my Infinity Futures install to 1850 (32Bit) 25512M

Now I am unable to use data charts from the other instance. For example previously I had subscribed to a bunch of exchanges on my direct subscription and I was able to use those charts from within my Infinity Futures install ... now they are gone. The option to select this instance or the other instance DOES NOT EVEN SHOW UP.

I run both the direct subscription instance and the Infinity Futures instance as Administrator ...

Please help - without accessing data from the direct subscription in my Infinity Futures instance I CANNOT TRADE.

BTW it is same behavior from both sides I cannot access Infinity Futures charts in direct subscription instance either ... the option itself is not shown anymore in all cases (infinity futures instance and direct subscription instance) ... See image for explanation of option I am talking about ...

Hi,

How do I access for example $INX data subscribed in SierraChart direct subscription instance in my Infinity Futures instance?

($INX chart loads correctly inside direct subscription instance .... but there is no way I can see to access this data in my Infinity Futures instance)

Both instances are installed in separate folders and are on the same Win10 machine. I run them both as "administrator" (still does not work)

Everything was working fine for years until the upgrade to 1850 today. Please help.

In response to post #1, refer to:
Breaking Change: Remote Chart Data Files

In response to post #2, we will put together an example for this:

How do I access for example $INX data subscribed in SierraChart direct subscription instance in my Infinity Futures instance?

($INX chart loads correctly inside direct subscription instance .... but there is no way I can see to access this data in my Infinity Futures instance)

It is supported and supported in a superior way but we just need to explain how to do it. Just give us another one to two days for this.

The issue you are having is not related to any particular Sierra Chart version. This is with certainty. There is some other problem and we would have to get a precise description of the issue and a Message Log to help you with this.

And the fact that you went back to a prior version and still have the issue confirms what we are saying. There must be some kind of configuration problem. Or a CQG server issue. But this is hard to say because we do not even have a clear understanding of the issue.

I am able to setup a DTC server inside my SierraChart subscription (where I have the realtime $INX data available) as documented.

BUT in my Infinity SierraChart I have no way of accessing the "DTC Sub instance" under Data/Trade Service settings (so that I can try to get the $INX data from the SierraChart subscription into the Infinity instance) as that pull down menu is grayed out (see screen capture).

Here is the documentation for accessing data from one instance of Sierra Chart in another instance:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/MultipleServices.html#AccessingMarketDataFromOtherInstancesOfSierra%20Chart

which does not allow me to configure "DTC Sub Instance"
This feature does not rely on this.
