CTS T4 CME (Top Step Trader) certain products not updating live data post 1605 releases

Using data via the TopStepTrader combine and the CTS T4 FIX associated with it, have noticed the following symbols are not updating real time in Sierra Chart versions later than 1605 (ie. 1609, 1611, 1613): YM.20171200.CME_E ES.20171200.CME_Eq RTY.20171200.CME_Eq Upon reinstalling to ver 1605, the live data returns as normal for these symbols. To verify, installed a newer release and the data does not update, and went back to 1605 a second time and the data returns. The issue seems to correlate with version number as nothing else has changed with the account or other settings. Some symbols like NQ.20171200.CME_Eq does not seem to be affected or other products like GC, ZB, CL, etc, and will still receive real time data in the later versions. |

We have done some work on the CTS connection but not sure what the issue is. We would not have expected this. We did some testing now and cannot reproduce the issue. We tested 4 symbols. Therefore, we want you to install another copy of Sierra Chart on your system. Update and observations after testing clean installs of versions 1605 and 1613: 1) Have found that connecting to data service first, then loading charts second seems to allow normal streaming of live data with all symbols. 2) Conversely, If chart books are loaded first then data is connected, the majority of time the three symbols above are not updating live (YM, ES, RTY). When using version 1605 or prior it does not seem to matter, as live data is displayed as normal. 3) In the message log the following was observed: CTS T4 FIX | Received unsolicited security definition for symbol YM.20171200.CME_E. Making full security definition request for additional details. | 2017-09-22 12:27:59 CTS T4 FIX | Received unsolicited security definition for symbol RTY.20171200.CME_Eq. Making full security definition request for additional details. | 2017-09-22 12:27:59 CTS T4 FIX | Received unsolicited security definition for symbol ES.20171200.CME_Eq. Making full security definition request for additional details. | 2017-09-22 12:27:59 This is received when connecting to data, even if there are no charts or chartbooks open. Also noticed in the "symbols tracked" stat - ST:3 even if no charts are open, and the 'intraday file update list' is empty. 4) Message log has been uploaded using "send for analysis" For reference in the log: a) 12:27:59 - connected data a) 12:28:46 - loaded chartbooks / charts (data on all symbols streaming fine) b) 12:31:12 - initiated data feed disconnect b) 12:32:05 - reconnected to data (YM, ES, RTY do not have live data, however all other symbols tracked are streaming fine) This is in version 1613 |

Additional note: For testing the 1613 version - using new chartbooks for each symbol and keeping it very simple (only a trading DOM as the single chart in each chartbook, and a quote board in its own chartbook also), the data seems to stream fine with each test of data disconnect and reconnecting. However, when using the more complex chartbooks with many charts and studies in them, this seems to highlight the issue of not having the live data streamed on reconnects for the YM, ES, RTY. |
