I am a Service Level 5 customer, and I've prepaid for another 9 months.
This morning I had to close 5 of your popup dialogs that start out "-Check out the Lower-Cost Support for CTS..." (I run 5 instances ATM.)
Why must I see this over and over? It is bad enough that your popup dialogs start bugging me 7 days before data services expire to pay up for the following month.
Do you get really big commission dollars from CTS? I thought by paying Service Level 5 I could avoid having you "nickel-and-dime" me.
You ask us repeatedly not to waste your valuable time, e.g. by saying "thank you" to support answers. I have tried hard to avoid wasting your time, including hours making bugs simple for you to replicate.
My time is at least as valuable as yours! (IMO, of course. <g>)

I hope others who read this request and agree with me will press the Thanks button.

Cheers,
Dale

P.S. I still am quite impressed by your software and I hope to continue with Sierra Chart for years to come.

There is a small message with a checkbox beside that states "Do not show this again" below the message in the popup window. Please see attached screenshot. I assume if you check that off, you won't see the popup again? I never tried this but try it and let us know if this works.

And btw, this is how you can post on Support Board using your own name of choice instead of UserXXXXX, I have always wondered about that, you have to pay at the highest service package level AND prepaid for almost a year??!! Wow!

Hope this helps.

User972044, I always check the box and that works for a few weeks or so.
I think I chose the user name when I created my account (July 2015). It wasn't related to using package level 5 or prepaying. But I don't think the user name can be edited once it has been created. Maybe SC will let us know.

I see. Didn't know we had a choice of choosing an unique username, always thought we could only have what was given to us.

Good to know. Thanks for the feedback and the info. Sorry couldn't help you.

No not at all. Nothing. The number of users using the new CTS connection is quite low. Less than 10.

That message was put in many months ago to announce the new CTS and LMAX services. We just have not yet removed it. It is not as though it is intended to pop up again and again. But whenever there is a change with the overall message text which in your case there was apparently due to a message about the usage time coming to an end, then the system messages displayed. Also it is nothing more than a single sentence.

It is bad enough that your popup dialogs start bugging me 7 days before data services expire to pay up for the following month.
These messages are important to inform the user the normal access is going to come to an end. If we did not display this, then normal access to Sierra Chart would be abruptly ended. And we have from time to time received quite harsh complaints when users do not get notified about this. So here it is we receive a complaint about the message, and others have complained when they don't. There is not really much we can do. Those messages must remain. Keeping the user informed about the status of their account is critical, also when it comes to the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and the fact that it is going to be renewed, and what the cost is.

And there is the option on the System Notification message window, to prevent it from showing again until there is a change with text. But in your case, there was a change with text related to the usage time coming to an end.

avoid having you "nickel-and-dime" me.
There is 0% intent in this regard. It is about keeping the user informed for your benefit. Not ours. We are not a profit oriented operation.

Agreed. This notification is valuable and necessary.

The checkbox "[x] Do not show this again" does not work for me however. Never did (since years).

Everytime, I check it and click [Close]. With each intra-day restart of a Sierra Chart instance, the message pops up again. And I restart 20 times per day (not letting SC run in the background).

Could you please make this checkbox work for each calendar day?
