Graphic Settings Adjustment Problem : candle outlines

Sir, I am attemtping to have: 1. black outlines for each candles over a soft grey background 2. green and red soft colors for each candles as filled colors all this on a footprint set-up. I do not succeed to reach this result. Please take acknoledgement of the attached .CHT file. Global settings > Graphic Settings > Candle Stick Up Outline : black > Candle Stick Down Fill : soft green > Candle Stick Up Fill : black > Candle Stick Down Fill : soft red I must observ that the soft colors choosed never appear on the graph and come back to a deep red and green color by default. There could be a transparency level feature on the graphic settings for the candles ? Regards. |

We had a look at this and we see what the problem is. You are using the wrong Overlay study. Sir, I have used the Overlay Bar and choose the right chart number and region. 2 questions: > according to the height i decide to choose on my graph( by control+ left mouse click on the right vertical tab values), my footprint and the candle are not 'synchronised'. I might all the footprint datas to up or too down. How can I be sure that the candles and the values are placed perfectly ? > how can i change the fill colors of the candles ? can I set up a level of transparency ? If I want to have only the outlines of each candles and keep the fill the same color as background ? I have modified the colors on Global Settings > Graphic Settings, but nothing occurs. Thanks ! |

Based upon what you want to do, remove the Overlay study from the chart. Follow the instructions here to open the Input Settings for the Numbers Bars study: Numbers Bars: Input Settings for Numbers Bars Set the Open and Close Marker Style to Candlestick Outline.
