I am trying to calculate the angle of a subgraph with ACSIL using this description - http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ChartStudies.html#AutoColoring

Say I have the angle unit set to 0.25

There is a study called Study Angle

In the study angle, if I set the following
Length = 1
Value Per Point = 0.25

Would it be computing the angle in the same way as the gradient is done?

There was a problem with this and it has been fixed in the current version of Sierra Chart. Update following these instructions:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

On the current version, the calculation is the same. Although make sure the Value Increment per Bar in Ticks is set to 1:

I understand they were not computing the same?
Which one was changed? The "Study Angle" or the subgraph gradient coloring?

The subgraph gradient color was not exactly correct and that is what was changed.
