CQG disappearing bracket orders that can't be cancelled

Several times today my bracket order has mysteriously disappeared while in a live trade. I then have to replace it via "Send Attached Orders By Price." When that trade closes out the original bracket orders still exist (server side?) but are not visible to my trade platform. When price hits one of their price levels they are executed without warning and I am forced into a trade I did not manually enter. This is causing me losses!

Please fix this ASAP. I'm on version 1210 and did not have this problem before switching to CQG WebAPI.

We think this is due in part to an Internet communication problem on your side and CQG not sending the orders through when they are requested. So to Sierra Chart it appears like those orders are no longer present because CQG did not send them.

Update Sierra Chart to the latest version with Help >> Download Current Version. With some changes we have made this should not occur.

However, in this kind of scenario, do not send additional orders and instead call your broker to determine if those orders are still working and close out the position.

We have spent some time going over this problem and considering it. This is an issue on the CQG side and also possibly with your Internet connection.

If CQG does not send an order report through for an order which is Open in Sierra Chart, when the trade order data is requested from CQG, then Sierra Chart will mark the order as Canceled. So being this is happening means CQG is not sending the order data through for that particular order. This is not good whatever the underlying cause is.

Updating Sierra Chart is not going to solve this basic underlying problem. There is something still fundamentally wrong.

In the latest Sierra Chart version it will not mark an order as Canceled until there is a clear indication from the CQG side that it has finished sending through all the trade order data when there was a full snapshot of trade order data requested.

In at least one instance when I was watching the screen and actually saw my bracket orders disappear it was in a moment when price moved about 10 CL ticks almost instantly, around 11:05 AM PST yesterday. So perhaps the speed of price updates has something to do with this issue.

As far as I'm aware my internet connection is rock-solid. I never lose my cable connection nor have I ever experienced a situation that would lead me to question the quality of the signal. Can you suggest what internet/network metrics I need to look at to diagnose my possible connection issue?

I upgraded to 1213 and strangely after restarting SC showed that I had a limit sell order way above the market. It was one half of a bracket for a closed trade from earlier that day. It was in "pending cancel" mode and I had to call the trade desk to get it cancelled. Seeing as how this order was not visible while I had 1210 running I can only assume it was the of the "disappeared" orders that I started this thread about. I'm hoping the changes you put in this new version fix this issue. Thanks for working on it.

No. It is not this.

At this point after updating , just see how everything is and if there is a problem we will do our best to help.
