**Subject: Specific Intraday Charts Blank/Grey After Moving Chartbook to New Windows PC**

Hi Sierra Chart Support,

I have moved my Sierra Chart setup from my previous computer to a new Windows 11 PC and I am having a problem with three specific charts in my chartbook.

The following charts open but remain completely blank/grey with no price bars displayed:

* 4 Hour
* 15 Minute
* 1 Minute

However, in the same chartbook:

* Daily chart works correctly
* Renko/tick charts work correctly and receive current data

The symbol is NQU26-CME.

Troubleshooting already completed:

* Translate Symbols to Current Service
* Delete All Data and Download
* Reload and Recalculate
* Confirmed Data Limiting is set to 30 days
* Compared Chart Settings, Session Times and other obvious settings against a working chart
* Tested Auto-Set From Data Feed both Yes and No
* Duplicating one of the affected charts produces the same blank chart
* Deleted the transferred chartbook and downloaded a completely fresh copy of the original chartbook. Exactly the same 4H, 15m and 1m charts remain blank.
* Created a completely new NQU26-CME Intraday Chart from File > Find Symbol. The new 1-minute chart immediately downloaded/displayed price data correctly.

Therefore the data connection and NQU26 intraday data appear to be working correctly. The issue seems specific to these three saved charts within the chartbook.

Could you please advise what could be stored within these particular chart definitions that would cause the main price graph not to display on the new installation, while newly created intraday charts and the other charts in the same chartbook work correctly?

I can attach the chartbook if that would help you reproduce the issue.

Thank you.

You have several charts that have the wrong symbol. Each service uses a different symbology, so when you change services you need to update the symbols. After you change services and you select "OK" on the "Data/Trade Service Settings" window, you are asked if you want to update symbols. You should answer "Yes" to this question.

If you forget, or if you open another chartbook later, then you can select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" to update the chart symbols for the current selected service. You need to do this to update your current charts.

Thanks. I have now corrected the data/service configuration.

I am connected to Teton CME Order Routing, my CME with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts Denali exchange has been reactivated, and I have confirmed that my data is now live and real-time.

I then ran Edit > Translate Symbols to Current Service again.

The affected charts have correctly translated and their title bars now show:

NQU26_FUT_CME[M]

However, the same three charts remain completely blank:

4 Hour
15 Minute
1 Minute

The Daily and Renko charts in the same chartbook display correctly.

I can also create a completely new intraday chart for the current NQ contract and it displays price data correctly.

I have also previously tried Delete All Data and Download, Reload and Recalculate, duplicating the affected charts, and downloading a fresh copy of the chartbook. The same three charts remain blank.

So the symbols now appear to be correct for Teton and the live Denali feed is working, but these specific charts still do not display.

Could you please inspect the chartbook or advise what setting within these specific charts could be preventing the price graph from displaying?

Most likely this is a scaling issue. Right click on the price ladder and select "Reset" (or double click on the price ladder).

If that does not resolve it, then get us an image of one of the blank charts by following these instructions:

Thanks. I tried the scaling reset, but it has not resolved the issue.

Interestingly, on the affected charts there is no price scale/price ladder visible at all, and right-clicking anywhere on the blank chart does not bring up the normal chart context menu.

I have also tried Reset Scales for the individual chart and Reset Scales on All Charts, with no change.

I have attached an image of the affected 240-minute chart and Main window. As shown, the entire chart area is blank, including the price and time scales.

For reference, other charts in the same chartbook, including the Daily and Renko charts, are displaying normally. Newly created intraday charts also display normally.

The affected charts are now using the correctly translated Teton symbol NQU26_FUT_CME[M], and my Denali CME feed is live and real-time.

Please get us one of those charts by following these instructions:

Make sure you continue to have the same issue in the newly created chartbook for that chart. If you do not - i.e. if duplicating it resolves whatever is occurring, then duplicate it back to your original chartbook and move forward with that chart and delete the old one. In this case, we do not know what is occurring or why, but at least the issue will have been resolved.
