Severe Freezing Issue After Purchasing Sierra Chart Service

Hello Sierra Chart Support,

I purchased the Integrated Advanced MBO service today, and my account is now active.

My account:

Unfortunately, I am experiencing a serious problem with Sierra Chart.

The software starts normally and connects successfully. I can see the chart and the live data without any problem.

However, after opening almost any menu (for example Chart, Analysis, Help, etc.) or after changing certain settings, the entire application freezes for a long time. Windows shows "Not Responding", and the mouse displays the spinning circle. Sometimes it eventually recovers after waiting, and sometimes I have to close and restart the program.

The freezing became especially noticeable while configuring the Numbers Bars study. The changes I made include:

- Column 1 Numbers Bars Text = Bid Vol x Ask Vol
- Column 1 Background Coloring Method = Based on Dominant Side AskVol BidVol Percentage

These are standard Numbers Bars settings, so I do not understand why Sierra Chart becomes unresponsive after applying them.

My computer is a very high-end system:

- MSI Titan 18 HX AI A2XWJG
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX
- 192 GB RAM
- Windows 11 Home 64-bit
- Sierra Chart Version 2928 (64-bit), Revision 57433

I do not believe this is a hardware performance issue.

Could you please advise what might be causing this behavior?

If necessary, I am also willing to pay for one of your technical staff to remotely access my computer. I can explain exactly what I am trying to configure, and they can perform the setup directly if that is possible.

I would appreciate any guidance.
