Yesterday I thought I was following the Sierra Chart instructions for bringing my usage time (package 3 - $27) and additional services (SC Real Time and Historical data - $10) up to date. But I seem to have ended up with a Barchart registration.

Please advise re what I need to do in order to receive the SC Real Time and Historical data I think I was using before receiving your insufficient balances notifications. I have an active trading account with Interactive Brokers and I'm primarily interested in real time and historical Globex S&P e-mini data. I would also like the capability to follow indexes and occasionally check on a few US stocks.

Sorry to bother you with this, but I found the instructions included with your notifications to be a bit confusing. I haven't tried any connecting because it's the weekend (no real time trading to check) and because I suspect I may have ended up with the wrong data source because I don't recall previous involvement with Barchart.

A selection choice saying "Renew existing data if happy" would have been perfect for me. :-)

Thanks, Larry

Barchart is the vendor of record for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. Therefore, any email notices you receive from Barchart related to the data feed or any mention of "Barchart" in text messages when activating and deactivating the data feed, are all normal and expected.

Go to this page and add another $30 of credit to your account:
https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=AddAccountCredit

After that go to this page and activate the first real-time data connection:
https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=MarketDataFeedFeatures

After that go to this page and activate the CME exchange:
https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=SC_RealTime_DataFeed_SetExchanges

You will need to re-sign the agreement to be CME approved to get the reduced exchange fees.

There are additional exchange fees for stocks and indices . So you will need to add the appropriate amount to your Additional Services Balance to cover those exchange fees.

Sorry, a personal problem caused me to delay getting to this until now.

I tried to follow your instructions. I added the $30 of credit to my account. I followed your link and activated the "first real-time data connection". And I went to the Set Exchanges page and selected "Full CME Group" (first item on the page). I want to receive CME Globex data for the ES e-mini contract. The last data on my ES-201412-Globex chart is 2014-09-23. I'm not receiving any data for after that.

I just noticed there is a separate "CME, including Globex" Exchange selection (near the bottom of the page). I suspect I should have selected that instead of the "Full CME Group"? I would try that now, except I don't want to make the situation worse. I also notice that the selection has a $94.50 price associated with it. I wasn't previously paying any price like this.

In the process of the above I've signed a Barchart "CME Group Fee Waiver" form and a Barchart "Exchange Agreements" form. Please get me back on track so I can receive historical and real-time ES emini data.

Thanks, Larry

We see you have not activated the CME exchange. Do this again here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=SC_RealTime_DataFeed_SetExchanges

You will choose one of the CME exchange fees near the top. Either the one for 15.75 a month or 3.25 a month depending upon whether you need market depth data or not.
