Hi,
I just opened SC this morning and it crashed, while I was loading my chartbook I used the last weeks.
I deleted all my scid files, updated SC to the current version, restarted my computer.
I can now open a chart again with just the pricebars on it, but as soon as I open up my chartbook I used the last few weeks it crashes.
Not sure what to do now?

Regards, Nicolaas

I can load a NQ chart, but as soon as I try to load a MNQ chart it crashes

So if you do not open a chartbook, and just open a new chart for MNQ, the program crashes?

Is it actually closing out completely, or is it just locking up and not responding?

If it is not responding, are you certain that it is not just trying to download data, since you state you deleted the .scid files?

I have my workbook going with NQ but as soon as I try to change to MNQ or YM sierra charts crashes and disappears in a second from screen. (It is closing out completely) This is the workbook I have used the last few weeks on MNQ, NQ, and YM.
I am able to start a new chart with NQ, MNQ and YM. with just one chart and no studies.

When I changed the YM (One chart with only a few studies) and changed the setting from 30 second to 1min it also crashed right away

Are you using any custom studies on the charts?

Yes some, but they never gave any trouble. Could a crash report tell what is going on?

Please start Sierra Chart in Safe Mode and then see if you have the same issue. Safe Mode does not allow the use of custom studies, so your charts will not have those studies showing, or being accessed.

If you do not have an issue in Safe Mode, then the problem is related to a custom study.

Refer to the following for how to start in "Safe Mode":
