I manually flattened a position via market order at 20:39:12 on 3/30/2026 on MESM6. My bracket take-profit limit sell at 6392.75 (InternalOrderID 726841, ServiceOrderID 2493802490) was still working on Rithmic. At 20:41:40, Sierra internally canceled this order with the log entry: "Internally marking as canceled. No order update from server. For Trade Account: (not specified). Internal cancel" No cancel was sent to Rithmic. The order remained live on the exchange and filled at 20:44:08 at 6392.75, creating an unintended short position. Sierra did not log this fill. My Trade Activity Log confirms: Position updated to 0 at 20:39:12 Internal cancel at 20:41:40 with no server communication No fill entry for the 6392.75 execution Position synced to -1 from Rithmic on 04/01 at 01:31:35 Is this expected behavior? When a position is manually flattened, should Sierra not send an actual cancel to the exchange for remaining bracket orders? |
