I realized the local Trade Service Log on my machine was not being saved to disk at the time. Does Sierra Chart retain any server-side or backend log of the DTC message traffic for orders routed through Rithmic Direct, or is the Trade Service Log entirely client-side?

We only store informational messages in the "Trade >> Trade Service Log". And that information is NOT persistent - so if you restart Sierra Chart, the information that was in that log is gone.


I'm trying to determine whether the protocol-level messages between my Sierra installation and Rithmic's gateway for that order are recoverable. Specifically, the cancel-transmission attempt for order 2493802490 around 20:41:40 EDT.

You should ask Rithmic this question. They own the interface between Sierra Chart and Rithmic. So any logging would be on their end.
