A question about accessing the limited options data. Which data service should I subscribe to in order to access this data? Do i need live streaming or can I use the delayed data feed? I am not trading futures so I would rather not use a LIVE funded account, so then how can I access the limited options data without having an actual futures account with one of your supported brokers? Thanks

If you are referring to Options on Equities, then we do not have this data ourselves. The only broker that we work with that would have this data is Interactive Brokers. Refer to the following: Interactive Brokers Trading Service If you are referring to Options for the CME Group, then we do have this data, and you can access it from our Delayed Streaming data. You would just need to have your "Current Selected Service" set to "SC Data" to get this data, then follow these instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Futures Options with Sierra Chart Services For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Still not receiving the options data, could there be another reason?

E1AJ26 C6660.FUT_OPT.CME is the correct symbol whether your Current Selected Service is set to "Teton CME Routing" or "SC Data". But we are a bit confused when you state that "when I hit apply it will..." as you should be opening a chart from the Find Symbol window which does not have an "apply" button. The only place where entering a symbol would use an "Apply" button would be on the Chart Settings. We tested this just now and we do not see an issue with the symbol changing. Please let us know exactly where you are entering the symbol and when exactly it is changing on you. Yes, in the chart settings. ... When I enter symbol E1AJ26 C6515.FUT_OPT.CME and hit Apply, it then returns this :F24 :.FUT_OPT.CME. No data is loaded. |

Please get us "Before" and "After" images, as this does not make any sense for this to be occurring. There is no reason for the symbol that is entered in Chart Settings would be changed when selecting Apply. It just takes that text and tries to find the data for what is entered. In the "before" image, please show us the symbol as you have it entered in that field prior to selecting apply. Then in the "after" image get us the same image but after you have selected "apply". Also, which apply button are you selecting? The "A" next to the symbol entry, or the "Apply All" at the bottom of the Chart Settings window (not that it should matter, but we would need to know). And, if you are selecting the "A" and having this issue, then try not selecting that, and just select the "Apply All" button after you change the symbol. Let us know what occurs in this case.
