Hi John, It is sun afternoon and I am doing my weeklies. I open up the weekly chartbook and I get what you see in the screenshot. I have other chartbooks open in this instance, with the same symbols, and everything is just fine. YES, I restarted SC. YES, I hit the change symbol to current service. NO DICE. And look at the oddball messages in the log. I have never seen those diamonds before. Help....Karen |

There is a corruption in memory. Or maybe the Chartbook. Most likely in memory. The first thing we need you to do is to restart Sierra Chart. File >> Exit. And then start Sierra Chart again. And on the login window, disable Open Files on Startup (Important): Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Disabling Automatically Opening Files on Startup And then use a backup of your Chartbook from about two days ago: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. You must have a backup of the Chartbook because Sierra Chart automatically makes Chartbook backups.

well I know it 'saves' a chartbook every few minutes, but where do I find the back up? normally I go into files. I always have a 1 and 2 version. WTF did I do in the past few days that I deleted the backup 1 of this 2 version. aaagghh
